Basic Warranty Terms for Forte Motorcycles
The warranty for Forte motorcycles (motorcycles, ATVs, electric scooters) is provided against manufacturing defects and assembly defects.
1. Warranty Period and Mileage
The warranty period for motorcycles is usually 12 months from the date of sale, but may have mileage limitations (for example, from 3,000 to 5,000 km, depending on the category of vehicle and its purpose). The exact conditions that apply to your model are always detailed in the technical passport and warranty card.
2. Mandatory Conditions for the Validity of the Warranty
Unlike other equipment, the warranty on motorcycles is strictly tied to regular maintenance (M&T).
- Maintenance: To maintain the warranty, the owner is obliged to timely undergo scheduled maintenance (zero, first, second maintenance, etc.) exclusively at Forte Authorized Service Centers (ASC).
- Recording of work: All maintenance and repair work must be properly recorded in the warranty card with ASC stamps.
- Documentation: Mandatory provision of a completed warranty card and purchase receipt with each request.
3. Zero Maintenance (Break-in)
For new motorcycles, it is critically important to undergo a Zero Maintenance (usually after the first 50-300 km of mileage). This maintenance includes checking and adjusting components after running-in and is a prerequisite for activating the basic warranty.
Limitation of Warranty Obligations
Forte's warranty obligations do not apply to the following cases and elements:
- Violation of operating rules: Failure to comply with the break-in regime, use of equipment for sports competitions, overloading or operation in extreme conditions (for example, deep fording of water obstacles for electric scooters).
- Wearable elements: The warranty does not cover parts subject to natural wear and tear:
- Tires, tubes, clutch discs, brake pads and discs.
- Light bulbs, spark plugs, filters, belts, chains.
- Batteries (have a limited warranty period not exceeding 6 months).
- Seals, rubber products and gaskets, if their failure is not caused by a defect in the unit itself.
- External damage: Damage caused by accidents, falls, careless handling, corrosion due to aggressive environments, or damage to paintwork and plastic elements.
- Intervention: Repair or maintenance performed outside of an authorized service center, independent modification or installation of non-original spare parts.
